There are no accounts. Your basket is kept in your own browser until you pay. We measure how the shop is used with our own tool (see below). When you track an order, the order number and the email address or postcode you type are only used to find that order. The contact form sends nothing: it prepares an email for you to send.
What we collect when you order
When you place an order or contact us: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and order details. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
Why
To take and deliver your order, answer your questions and meet our legal duties (for example, accounting records). We do not sell your data. [TBC: retention periods]

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email contact@fabric-one.shop. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Measuring how the shop is used
We measure how our website is used with our own tool, on our own server: visits and pages, clicks and scrolling (heatmaps), speed and errors, products and basket, and your journey across visits and its link to an order. Session recording may be switched on for some visits, with everything typed and any personal details masked; it never runs on the checkout return, order tracking or returns pages, and recordings are kept 30 days. For now this runs without a cookie banner. Your IP address is never stored. The data is kept 25 months (individual events 13 months), is not shared with anyone and is not used for advertising.
